We started futureit because we were tired of gifting being an afterthought. A Venmo with “happy bday” in the memo. A gift card bought at checkout because you forgot until the last minute. A $50 bill in a card that gets spent before the weekend is over.
We wanted something better. A way to send a real gift — cash, a gift card, or, soon, money invested in the stock market — wrapped in a greeting card, with a personal message or a voice note. Something that feels like a gift, not a transaction.
We wanted gifts that go toward something real. A college fund. A first car. A family trip. So we built goals. And we wanted everyone in the family to be part of the story — so we built the Gifting Circle, where every gift, every giver and every message is kept.
We're a small team. We care about ADHD and autism awareness — it's personal to us, and it's the first cause we'll support when our nonprofit tools launch. We believe technology should make generosity easier, not harder.
futureit is for families, friends, creators, communities and anyone who believes a gift should be more than a line item in a payment app. We're in early access, and we're building this in public. Come build with us.
